Where tf are all of these lense flares coming from once hes inside the event horizon. Ok so what I gather is that Brand (who was seen on the planet alone) executed Plan B. These humans over the next million+ years (which we don't see because in higher dimensions (the 5th dimension) time is not linear, and all events in all of time are happening simultaneously) developed ways to interact with these higher dimensions. They knew that the real way for humanity to survive was by executing Plan A. However if Cooper sacrificed himself to the black hole then Plan A would never work. So the future humans finished the research from a million years ago and figured out how to interact with the past by creating the tesseract, thus saving Cooper from his ultimate death in Gargantua. Cooper came to the realization that it was future humans who created the tesseract so he could relay information back to Murph. Being in a 3D representation of the 5th dimension he was able to locate and communicate with Murph. Since Cooper ensured Plan A was successful, the timeline with Plan B was no longer viable. The future humans knew that by executing Plan A, Cooper would be altering the future, thus deleting the 5th dimensional humans from existence in its entirety. Thats why Cooper was able to escape the tesseract. It collapsed because Cooper saved humanity through Plan A, and therefore the tesseract no longer existed. The entire paradox within the movie was closed because the future humans sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Plan A was successful, and humanity lives happily ever after on Brand's planet.
